You need more of those overflow areas, all right. I've read about places like that turning into veritable parks. Marshy meadows served the same purpose naturally in Europe.
Sounds like you've streamlined your professional work process. I guess that scouting locations and getting the right conditions take a lot more of your time at this point.

Well the hike to it was not really that hard, it's about 3 blocks from my place
it was a matter of patience as it took almost 3 hours to find a way into the woods back there i walked a berm for a while with my gear in tow"including tripod" most of the picture is post work as the original shot wasn't good at all

Your story makes me think of all those depictions of 19th and 20th Century artists wandering the wilderness or semi-wilderness with kit and easel, looking for just the right place to pitch and paint or draw. I wonder how many improved on their field work by transferring the idea to a different canvas where they filled out the image from the original inspiration.

Why would you just reformat the card? Even if there's only one photo that you want to use, you should save it to review later. You can always wipe the others after you've gone through the set

So Monday night i was walking home and talking to myself and i broke I'm so tired of being taken for granted in the work place I'm a cook not a damn show pony.
Before it comes up, i talk to myself just so i can vent and relieve stress

Plenty of people talk to themselves. It helps some people to think.
I thought that you'd found another place to work, though I know that's difficult in your area even with all the shortages of employees.
I sent you a link to something that may improve your spirits.

You're right about that. Unless you manage to get enough skill to be hired at a better class of restaurant, and even then the margins are usually so small that it isn't great. Without getting into the reasons behind it, until the chains can be made to improve base pay the whole system is a lousy place to be employed. I've found that the restaurant associations often push the most employee regressive agendas. If they want something passed, you're usually better off opposing it.
The number of people who would be in the arts who wind up in low paid employment is notoriously high.
Were you at least able to solve your housing situation?

That's- awful. Twenty-eight years with no seniority and no advancement? With that much experience as a cook I would think that you could find some kind of meaningful position.
Any Native casinos in your region you could apply for a job at that might have a decent pay scale? Seriously, with that much experience you should be able to transfer to something in the same line that's better.
I think one of the big persistent problems is that companies don't want to promote people up the ranks anymore. Just cycle through them at whatever level to avoid paying them any more than they absolutely have to - which is to say as little as they can get away with. Germany trains and retrains its work force to get a better result. In the U.S? They just want you to go deep into debt without any guarantee you'll actually have a better job at the end of it.
