I see potential. I want you to practice because you are good enough that I don't want you to stop. Don't listen to anyone who tells you to stop.
I have a degree in graphics, so I have some advice because you look like you could go far. You need practice but you are talented.
I have some tips that I hope you find useful in this spoiler.
You need access to better software, and experience in said software. I recommend looking up torrents for Photoshop CS3 or CS5 (don't bother with CS4). Also, look up Gimp and Corel Draw software. Once you find software you like, use Google and Youtube to watch tutorials about your software to learn it faster. Consider going to college if you want to get serious. I use Photoshop CS3 and I can give pointers on it's use, but other software is alien to me. If you don't like Photoshop I highly recommend Corel Draw because I've seen people do wonderful stuff with that software, even though I myself don't know much about it first hand.
Also, if you have about seventy dollars you could get a small Wacom drawing tablet for your computer. Learning to use a Wacom is way easier than you might think with practice. Wacom tablets come with Corel Draw software which is a very good program. Ask for one for Christmas or a birthday if you don't have spare money.
You understand symmetry which is important. Don't be in a hurry to finish either, you want to spend the extra time putting folds in cloth, texture in hair, and some shadows. Even if you don't want to do realistic drawing, it is good practice to draw that way early in your career because more strokes means more practice, and when you return to stylized minimalism it will end up exploding with detail with fewer strokes due to your training. Even Picasso drew realistically before he came up with his own style and explored cubism.
Use a hard 4H pencil and brush lightly faint lines until you have a perfect "ghost" of your character, then apply 2H or softer pencil lines, or colored pencils, to the ghost to finish it in deep, dark lines. The reason for this is you want to be able to erase the light lines without harming the paper or leaving lines that are too dark to erase before the final stages.
Using a Wacom can greatly aid in cleaning a scanned drawing or eliminating paper altogether, and it allows the use of software to apply vibrant colors. Never dig through a box for that lost color again once you get a Wacom.
If you use colored pencils make sure you use white colored pencil in white areas even if you are drawing on white paper because it creates a consistent texture and the wax creates a whiter highlighted area. This is important, the wax in white colored pencils will give white areas a shine that is subtle but effective.
Lots of light strokes are better than heavy strokes because you don't want to crease the paper with your pencil pressure, and mistakes made with light strokes are easier to erase/correct.
Whatever you draw, realistic, fantasy, horror, gay, straight, or whatever, don't hold back, challenge yourself, and explore your imagination. Thanks for sharing your work!
Thank you for the advice, I think i will go for a wacom tablet on Christmas or next time i get work. I do plan on going to college after I get my loan paid off I want to go to Texas Tech or maybe one of these art colleges like caplan.
I like the 2nd round, Joe. Your sensual loli lady (or ladies?) clearly enjoy being watched. Thanks for sharing, I'm looking forward to your next rounds!
|)ark]-[eart: ... my most delirious mind's perversion of lolicon ...
edit: I'm sure your mind can think of much more perversion. Your loli ladies - on lah not lolicon because of the noticeable boobs - certainly want more than just being watched
In your poll I tried to click "Yes" for the 2nd round and afterwards "No" for the 1st one. Some time ago that would have been no problem, but - fortunately - not anymore
