Excellent newspaper-type cartoon stuff. As everbod says - cute.
I actually like the lined paper, in a way - at least for the showcase. I shows scale and gives a bit of insight into technique. Your stuff deserves better treatment, however, from now on.
Buy yourself a layout pad - it's something between bond paper and tracing paper and allows (sort of) tracing of bold lnes. It's also incredibly smooth so the line quality is great and it erases really well. It's white enough that using your camera should work O.K for quite a while.
Uniball eye pen = fadeproof, waterproof. Fine, crisp lines, particularly on layout paper where it's almost as sharp as india ink. Cheap, easy.
The above combo should futureproof your work so you can scan it or rework it reasonably easily.
More work, please!

Thanks for the helpful tips. There's an art supplies store nearby, I should check it out sometime and pick up the supplies you mentioned. I would like to experiment more as well, but I'll save it for when I have the time.
And thanks for the comments, Bobbie!
