Anyway, for me, if I have to put some colours, it's to make it look much better than the original.

? Um, no? I'm being serious. People care too much about seeing games, movies and doujins in english, and pics in color and without censoring. But I prefer not to derail the thread any further.

Why not?

Color has nothing to do with depth. For example, look at Catboy's avi. Remove the text on top, and the rubber duck, and you have a black and white drawing. There's just as much depth as in Frag's avi. The way depth is created is by overlaping parts of the image, and adjusting relative sizes of things. (closer things are bigger)
