Private messaging

Can anyone explain why the private messages I posted today are in a folder called Outbox, while the ones I sent earlier are in a folder called Sentbox? I can only guess that they sit there until the addressee downloads them? Can anyone enlighten me, as I can find no answer inthe FAQ's. Also, what are the flags all about?

You are correct, until the addressee see's it, it remains in your outbox; while it's there, you can delete or edit it.

As far as flags: I never noticed that collumn. No idea.

Thank you Feather..that was so quick. Posted here cos I couldn't find a better place to post it, but I have my answer now Smile

The flags are the little round boxes at the side, some with ticks in that I don't quite understand.

In your messages? Those are to select/deselect messages that you want to delete or move.

well, there's a column marked "Flag" and a column marked "Mark." The one marked "Mark" is the one you're talked about, Lec; I assume he's referring to the other, which I can't seem to get to do anything.

Well, in internet terminology, 'flag' usually means to mark something to attract attention, usually a moderator. Perhaps this is to alert a mod to unwanted messages?
