Seems the system thinks there's one more post in the thread than there actually is, and whenever it gets bumped onto a new page, going to the latest page / post returns an error. is annoying when it happens.

sometimes it happens with other threads, a sufficient enough post usually solves the bug. Just go to the second latest page whenever that happens.
AFAIK, none of the mods/admins have explicitly talked about this anywhere...
