 Sacred Plume locks up at this point all the time! |

The title pretty much says it all, but a little more info:
In this battle this shot is from (in case you can't make it out properly, it's the battle against the giant robot thingy), right after Kato and everyone else arrives, this is all that happens, and the game freezes. It occasionally hangs too (usually upon exiting the weapon/armour shop) but this usually rights itself in a little bit. This, however is bona fide freeze.
In case it's a hardware problem, here's my current spec:
P4 3Ghz HT
2GB Single Channel DDR400
SATA 300GB HD
170GB free HD Space
SB Audigy
512MB AGP8x MSI NX7600 GT
Mounted using DAEMON Tools V4.09HE

its possible it could be a game bug. but as long as your pc meets the games requirements, it shouldnt freeze. so it must be the game.

I was thinking that to myself as well, but I sometimes run into other problems relating to my HT processor -- Alpha Centauri/Alien Crossfire, TurupetaKyou no Yabou sometimes....
My spec exceeds the minimum requirements for just about anything so far.
This actually annoyed me a bit, as when I was stuck for something I was thinking to myself "Y'know, I think I'll play Sacred Plume.... GAH!"

Drivers and such are always a good thing to check first. If all else fails just try a reinstall?
Also, it's not completely unheard of for a system to be TOO good for a game to cause it not to work.
