if I try to log into LAH with firefox and tor running I get a message saying I've been banned! I have no problem if I use explorer

Yes, you have really misunderstand what Kalia wrote.
Tor is a program that let you browse throught a proxy and therefor Anonymous. It´s just a proxy program.

i got banned too by that. i just disabled it and it's ok again... hehe. it's quite hard to do it tho, cuz i was downloading something from megaupload at that time... and i feared that if i disable tor in between, the dl would break. >_>
