Do you know what the cause of my problem on page 22 is?
i also have vista, and never had the same prob as you. it could mean that your ram ran out. i have 4gb of ram. it could be a compatibility problem, make sure sp2 for visua is installed, then on the game exe/ launch shortcut, rigt click it and select properties. now click on the compatibility tab. chose run in compatibility mode and make sure it is in windows xp sp2 mode. on the same tab, click run as administrator.

i also reccomend you set your applocale to japanese. on LAH use the search option and look up vista applocale. there Gs a tutorial on how to change applocale on a vista os.

now if none of the above work, make sure your video card has the latest driver updates. don't just use windows update to check, go visit the website of the manufacture of your video card is.

AS FOR EVERYONE ELSE:

i got a pm from the user Bolha that the games Vanprincess and Yukkuritan links are dead. he has never made a post on my thread of this so i am leaving the links up until i find the games in my 500GB backup external hdd.

Okay, I tried again following your advice, and it still doesn't seem to work. Everything is up to date, I have 4GB ram, and am not using up even half of my space. I can't even manage to get the game installed, and when I try to change the compatibility, nothing happens.

Here are some images of what might be wrong with mine. Also, I tried redownloading from scratch, with the same result.

How about just running the setup.exe (should be the one with the gear on it, but I don't have vista so I might be wrong) to install it instead of trying to unpack a .cab which is not a .rar?

i noticed the .img file. that is a cd image is it not? have you tryed burning the cd img to cd and then try installing via cd? sometimes unarchiving a iso or img file wont work, you have to burn it to cd then insert cd and run it like that.
