I would never have noticed, the text is still click able, though. But that makes sense, because the image layer stops right above them, so...

They are not problems just arisen. It is caused by the mascot layer 
Anyways, for the techies wanting to help me, she is on an own <DIV> layer that covers the navbar layer.
But,
HTML help:
Input from pointing devices, such as the mouse, does not penetrate through overlapping elements even if the elements are not visible.
Anyone has any ideas? The Navbar is inside its own DIV, but, even using z-index, I cant properly bring it behind it. If I set the value too low it will go behind the whole site and becomes invisible.

How many layers are at the top of the site there? Are the diff textures set into each other, ect...
EDIT: How about bringing the buttons forward, instead of sending her back?

All in all 3 layers. The "normal" one that isn't a layer, then the layer with the buttons and then the layer with the mascot now. Still fighting with it. Putting the menu layer over it will cause the whole row including the background stand before the mascot.
That's not good...

It seems to work when I remove the background picture of the menu.
I just have to figure out how to put the background under it somehow.
