What can I say? Looks good. Some of the english is ever so slightly awkward, and IMO Frag's colorizations are obviously so, but that's just nit-picking.

Though I agreee to a certain extent, Sat wanted to be as true to the original wording as possible.

Just because I am curious, do you think translations should be literal or functional?

Every bit of practice helps, but I do agree the color blends etc could be a little better, but on the whole I think he did a good job for one of his first "official" released works.

I will take it that since you made no comments about the backgrounds in around and near the text bubbles that I did a reasonable job of recreating the missing areas. On closer inspection, do you think there is anything I can do to improve the cleaning/background recreation? Almost all the text bubbles were originally vertical, but I flipped them horizontal, resized them when necessary, and I filled in the blank areas.

As I would like to do more manga cleaning projects, any fedback you can offer on my part of the work woulf be really appreciated.

It took me some thinking just to figure out what you did. And only by looking specifically for your clean-ups could I find any. I think any criticism I could give you would be unnecessary and only lead to exacerbating your OCD for no appreciable gain.

I agree, Alter should have been given credit for his rendering of feather-chan. She is very cute, and Alter is very deserving of credit. She was added at the last moment by Sat so I think it was an accidental oversight. I am sure once he realizes the problem (I will point it out to him) he will correct it. I think Sat wasn't sure about using that one because she is not the "Official" mascot, and may not get much exposure in light of other works.
