This is exactly why i hate living in the US.....firstly we get all animes, mangas, etc in atleast 1 yr later than the ACTUAL release in japan.

Bye the time we finally get the animes changed to american language most people have already either seen it in japanese or own the series in japanese.

and finally when they do changed it to american they censor and cut out all the best scenes to make them "child friendly" and even after all that its still not good enough for the government to let go.

God dam this country sucks Smile

That's just stupid. (both of you) If one doesn't like the system, one should demand change.

Electricus:
I dunno. I saw plenty of sex 'n' violence in the manga. If they have cut it, they couldn't have cut much.
Maybe they have a different version in England than in America. European censorship is different than American censorship.

But thats just it many people have demanded changed but their voices are unheard by the masses due to the fact that well....most of the ones demanding are looked upon as "nerds"

What the Hell is this, High School? People aren't heard because thats all they do. Bitch and moan, but when election time comes around their all to busy to bother to give a fuck. Talking about how much the governement sucks won't change a damn thing. Action will. What have you done besides whine?

Oh and feather, I wasn't angry because he disputed the government I was angry because all I heard was another person whining without backing it up.

I do wonder why American companies seem to feel the need to reversion shows, targeting them at lolier audiences than they were intended for, or why they weren't necessarily "kid friendly" before.

Well in my opinion its a conspiracy...Think about it. They remake shows that have violence and to top it off most of them have to do with self defence *dragonball, bleach, many many others but too lazy to name them*

They want to teach the loli generation about fighting early in life so that when the draft comes back they can recruit easilier and have part of their training complete before hey even get them.

Or, they figure those shows would have a heavier profit margin if they were aimed at kids. Since in Japan, anime and animated things are common even for adults, in America it's not as common.

And Bleach didn't suffer that heavy of censoring.

hahah I didn't mean the super powered part of the shows i ment the simple punch kick and block senarios. You see? they want to get the idea of fighting in the kids heads so that they would be ready and waiting to learn how to really fight. Its the manipulation of the will to fight. The more you see a fight the more an easy going mind will be bent into wanting to fight.

They can't defend themselves if they don't have personal experience. Say for instance you watch DB everyday, and you wanna be just like Goku. You go outside, and a gang of kids show up. They try to beat the crap out of you, and you fight them the way you saw it in TV. Yeah, not gonna happen. The kid gets PWN3D! because there's a certain logic: The kid never had fighting experience. PHYSICAL experience. You need the reflexes and muscles in order to succeed in a fight.

Oh i totally understand where you are going with this...but i am not talking about at the moment experience needed I am talking about visual experience for the future to get you into self defence as in bending the mind into wanting to pick up self defence if you watch those type of shows long enough you will sooner or later want to start taking lessons. Those children who take lessons will be candidates for the draft. anyone eles well.....lets just say they'll have a hard time getting into the army. but in anycase this is thread jacking and i dont want to get a warning for that so lets just leave this conversation for the PM's or rather make a thread for it in the HP.

Or at least they don't think it's not as common.

It's probably the same people who think that video games are primarily for children, and bitch about all the mature games on the market.

9 . 9

Ok, it seems that a simple picture can end in this kind of conversations. If we are talking about people f**ked by the anime and manga that they recive... Is us, the Latinoamerica. The Adultswim programation for Cartoon Network in USA have a lot of great animes, and here we have what, Pokemon... or Naruto till Episode 60. And the Manga is sooooo censored. But of course, thanks to the Internet people like me can enjoy Uncuted versions of Old Animes, Or the very New releases of Anime and Manga, just with a Week delay from Japan.

And in Japan they have some weird way of think. They create the bloodiest animes, (well, they creat all the anime), and some weird stuff like Yaoi and all that, and is all uncuted, uncensored. But they continue releasing Hentai Censored, and thay don't have that need anumore, because the law in Japan has changed, but i think they just get used to it. So, in my opinion, enjoy tha anime you watch, eben more the Hentai you watch, Love your Lolis, and let the big companies cut wath ever they want, because that will never change. If you want the real deal, look in the internet as many people do.

Mada Mada Dane.
