Router Identity |
Quote |
I'm trying to configure my router's settings so I can get the most out of torrent, but I have no idea what the default password is.
I have no idea what kind of router it is either; there isn't a brand name, model number, serial number, or anything on there.
The only thing the router says is, "broadband router" with some indicator lights.
I know that the default gateway address is 192.168.2.1
I have provided a picture of the router and its login screen.
I just want to know what kind of router it is, but its default password would save me time as well.
Thank you for your time.

try 1234 as the admin pass.
This is a no-name router, but I guess one of the EDIMAX ones would have identical hardware.
Hard to say which one though, from just looking at it like this. If you opened it up, I guess
some components would give more info :/
Also, does it have an antenna on the back?

I tried 1234, but it didn't work.
There isn't an antenna on the back.
I'm not really technologically saavy, so I'm kind of scared to open it up, but if I get around to doing it, then I'll put up more pictures.
It's the only router I have at the moment though.
Thanks for the reply.

Well, the guy who came to set up the internet just gave me this modem...It didn't come with a box or anything, or even a manual.
I can't really determine the serial or manufacturer...it's pretty blank.
My isp is comcast by the way.
