Hi folks, it's time for an update. Thanks for the positive comments, SAT, Jordan1195, RJ, Frost001 and two old acquaintances from Renchan...
How nice to see you again on the forums, Kouhei and Lilith-chan! I was hoping that I'd bump into you again at some point. (bump!) (Excuse me....) Yep, I've kept up with the art. Enjoy!
Um, first of all, I make no apologies about using ages in Sassie's adventures. When I started this loli series I wanted to show a year in a little girl's life showing the American holidays and seasons. I wanted to contrast this with the Japanese loli that we all know so well. Since I'm just a detailed guy at heart (and because people asked) I came up with the birthdays, etc for Sassie, Mandy and Lily. It was well received at Renchan at the time and it's a bit much to expect me to change that now. For my next series the girls will be older but that's a way in the future. So for now when you mention it, I shrug. I would hope that you had something more insightful to say about the art that I spend a lot of time on....
I will apologize in advance if the art that I am now posting offends anyone. I deliberately did NOT mention an age in the toddlercon picture and I can't tell you the ages of the dogs in "Puppy Love". I had requests for these subjects and I'm taking care of them now. Blooming cherry trees are a symbol of Spring so I had to show them in a picture, hence the "worm's eye view" in #76. And the iPod picture was fun to draw and real quick to color... Ha.

About the ages, Fogbank... I already told you to expect it when you first posted.
If you take a peek at LAH's rules, ages are actually forbidden here, but I gave you a special permission because I think you are a great artist. I also mentioned that you should expect comments about it anyway. So please do not be surprized.

Toddlerkon AND bestaliity all in one sitting, and they say I'm twisted!
I won't comment on the age ordeal, personally, I say whatever floats your boat, I'm not trying to fool myself or anything when looking at this stuff. Here's my two cents on some things that might help you improve:
1. Higher contrast. Don't be afraid to go darker for shadows, it makes things feel more rounded.
2. Your eyes are kinda flat looking as well, eyes have lights/darks/and color variation as well, so I'd suggest spending a bit more time in that department.
3. Hair: I'll admit I'm not an expert, but your hair is pretty flat too, give it some shadows and highlights as well.
Again, no offense, but I think that a few simple steps might help your art go a lot farther.

Hi again,
Hey, all right, good comments Jordan1195! I will try the greater contrast in my next picture. One thing to note, however, is that I'm going for the anime style and (though there are many sub-styles) they don't go overboard with complicated shadows and lighting. Also, heavy shadows on loli subjects are rather harsh and tend to be avoided. Now anything goes on adult men but for girls and boys, simpler (fewer lines) is better. I know I'm weak in coloring in general, and it always takes me longer than I expect as it is but I'll experiment. Sassie and co. are not intended to look realistic but I certainly hope to improve as I go along. Thanks again.
In this set of pictures is, to my knowledge, the first "Cinco de Mayo" loli picture. Ole! It had been a long time since I drew a footjob so here's one. Lily will turn her attentions to human subjects for the foreseeable future - I have several ideas in mind for the goth girl and hope to draw them all when I have time. Everyone have a safe week and for the Americans - enjoy the Fourth of July!

Hey Foggy
I still love your work, and I am glad you keep sharing it (More importantly, I hope you keep sharing it )
The ages part...well as Sat pointed out it is in the rules, so we do our best to enforce it. Of course your pre-existing work is more than welcome, I did not want to imply anything by that. The only request I might have is if you are able to limit using ages with work you create in the future and that you share here it is appreciated as it helps us enforce the rules with others
I do agree with jordan1195, your work is excelent, but the next step is certainly shading and highlighting I am onlypointingthat out as you have asked for feedback.

Hi there - thank you for the positive comments Kouhei, Combi and Lococigar!
Thanks Kouhei, I do like feedback on my art - it helps me improve and learn what people are looking for. On that earlier post I was just a bit annoyed that what with everything I put into my pictures that people could comment about (composition, different angles, various subjects, what the heck was Lily thinking, nice attention to the seasons, pretty flowers, check out the "Piglet" design on those panties, dang that's erotic, etc.) and all I noticed really was ... it is a pity that you mention how old the girls are.
OK, I've ranted enough about that and it's time to move on. I intend to finish out depicting a year in Sassie's wild life. After that, if I do another series, I will make the ages less obvious. Now question - can I tell grades (for ex. third grade)?
This black-and-white picture is thrown out for any colorists who happen to be in the audience. The girl is not Sassie so feel free to add colors, shadows and more fireworks to suit. Chances are I will color it myself when I get to that point in the Sassie series but I'm a ways away from the Fourth of July. The picture is in the original size that I work in to help you color the details. Have fun and be sure to show us the results if you take up the challenge.

Sorry fogbank, all the thing with the ages. I told you already, we have it forbidden in the rules, so you should expect people wondering about it. Personally I guess it doesnt really matter for you. You started it like that and you should continue with it. Not to mention removing it now would be useless after a flood of pictures mentioning it, . So by all means, do it as you're comfortable and used to.
As for the color, I need to hit Fragnostic with something so he comes here.

Thanks SAT - I will apologize to you for using ages in my erotic series and to anyone who got offended by my artwork / use of ages. Since I started this on another forum it's a bit late to change.
Thank you for the coloring job, Jordan1195! Good of you to demonstrate what you were talking about earlier on this thread. I see you used shadows and highlights to add volume to the subject's bodies. Good, good, I will keep it in mind. Just that you missed one big item - you didn't add your signature (i.e. "Color by Jordan1195")! Come on, once you have your job to your satisfaction, by all means take a little credit.

Haha, I guess I just didn't remember when I posted them. Anyway, if you don't mind I did a sketch of Sassie and her dad and I thought you might enjoy it. :-p I posted it in my thread though.
Hopefully you've done some more stuff while the site was down.
