Oh I didn't stop anyway... I tried to draw some ass (loli or not loli) and here's what I got
(using only the pen tool and brushes)

Nice job there, I'm not a huge fan of coloring myself, but I do dabble in it every now and then. My one suggestion would be to try out a bit of cel shading as opposed to flatness.

That's a good tutorial, but, it's really whatever floats your own boat. Try various techniques and you'll find the one that works best for you.
