ok i am having a prob i have jap unicode on my comp but it still wont work, the tab for jap is marked on my advanced settings tab on theregional setting. but it still wont work i even tried applocale but no avail anyone kno whats wrong

I'll test it out on my system as well.
Are you getting any error codes? or anything at all?
Or does it just black screen?

Just to make sure.
Under Regional and Language options.
1) Under 2nd Tab (Languages) you have Install files for East Asian Language checked.
2) Under 3rd Tab (Advanced) in the language for Non-Unicode programs
you switch to Japanese.
3) Restart Computer

Anyways, first things first.
Do you get the picture below when you try to mount it?

Cause I get that same message when I play it from the Disc.
But when I install the game and play it through that menu, it seems to work fine for me.

i get that message even if i install it which is soo annoying, i just dont know how to fix it, it happens with all the other jap hentai games too that require changing settings

I recomend appLocale for Japanese games you don't have to install.
For this: Install, click start, make sure you have set your code to Japanese and restarted your computer, and then click the icon that appears in your start menu.

That means you need to get your entire system locale changed to Japanese, and using applocale may not be able to help you, but just try it.

Thats a standard KIRIKIRI message. It simply means that Applocale won't work. You need either a japanese locale or a japanese windows.

how do i set the jap locale is is diff from the normal routine i.e reigonal settings... advanced tab japanese box ticked. cos i have already done that and applocale does not work either

my suggestion? if the game has put itself in a directory with wierd symbols, or if the startup/shortcut.exe has any wierd symbol, change them to something with english characters
