What prog are you using? I use PaintShopPro for the retracing and base coloring (thanks to Sat & kouhei) and shading in Photoshop.
The program is called Photostudio, version 4. It's worth about 100 bucks and gives me the basic editing tools. I've seen some programs that make the color look like water color paint.... I want that, but I don't have the money.

Heh, I'm by no means addicted, I don't even have an iPod... O_O It's actually my family's computer, not my own. Only reason I can tolerate a mac without decent art software is knowing it's not susceptible to viruses like other PC's and it lets me play one the few games I like to play, but I've been slowly numbing myself to it's compatibility issues ever sense we got it. -_-
