I already have the files, Alterra. I just need to know if I burn all three to a disk, or just one of the cd images, and if so, which one.

You don't need to burn anything to a CD/DVD.
All you need to do is install using the install ISO with some virtual drive (I use Dammon tools) after then installation is done it will ask something in japanese don't know what it's saying all I can make out is the number "2" at this point hit cancel mount the game CD ISO then use Program Compatibility Wizard and go to the .exe file where ever you installed it. use "windows 98/windows ME" and it should work.

Okay, that means...problem (since I haven't got the time to DL it, curse my unstable net for that):
Either:
The install CD installs all the components you need, and the Game CD plays it after you've installed it.
Or:
The install CD unloads the files so you can play without the CD, and the game CD is when you want the game to play without installing it.
Since I can't verify, I need someone who already DLed this game to tell me how it works. Sorry for all that...V_V

If it was me just burn them both. One image (ISO) for the installation disk and one for the other image (ISO) for the game disk.
But theres a special way to do it if I'm remembering correct. If he wants to burn the ISO's and run the game off the CD just like that he would have to use a program that burns images to CD's in that format.
That being the case I use RecordNow! or you can use MagicISO.
Now if he wants to burn them onto a CD/DVD just for storage then just burn it like a normal data file.

Nero Burning does it nicely too.
Burn the .iso to run the game directly.
Burn it as .udf if you want to place it for storage (just in case you want to)...

Okay, ever played a JP game that displays incomprehensible garbled text? That's caused by Unicode (forgive me if I'm wrong, techies). The unicode simply converts letters and numbers to symbols. However, without the proper language files and settings, it will still be displayed incomprehensibly (ie, the code is correct, it's just not converting the code into the desired symbol). So, settinga system locale fixes that problem because:
a. it installs necessary language files
b. it makes programs that are region-compatible run in your computer.
Basically like that. The definitions aren't that accurate. Y'know, noob explanation, lol.
