Out side of that we should be as patient with new people as they are often unfamiliar with the environment etc. As a general rule it's good to point them to the rules. We all do that, they read them and they either grow with the community or return to lurking Feather Kawaii 2

or if they really cross the line they get banned.

It's not a bad system, but I can also see why you would get aggravated at people who generally ignore the common sense of reading the rules for the stomping ground.

Either way I think patience and kindness go a long way in welcoming people to our community. If they abuse that then we remove them from our community Feather Kawaii 2

Once again, it's all about who they are.
Newbs should be nurtured until they can stand on their own two feet and become a valuble member.
Noobs are deserving of hatred. We should do our best to ridicule them, and make them feel bad.
