There's really nothing wrong with using only photoshop --- they're all just tools, and with results like that, we're not complaining.

K: Thanks for your comments everyone
I used to draw on paper, then scan it in before inking on photoshop~
That's what I have used primarily over time.
K: but now I just draw on photoshop cuz I'm lazy xD;
I have been becoming more and more lazy like that myself these days although i am no where near your level of quality yet.
K: I attached the sketch, then the outline, then the foreground colouring, then background
Thank you, I do see the method you are using and it is pretty muh the sae approach I use. Do you use a filter to create clean lines from the sketch? Or do you ink before scanning / clean the edges of a PS drawn sketch?

I never mentioned that I love your coloring style as well, more than my own by far. I'm a PSP8 user, but I am clearly not as adept at using my tools as you are yours. Great stuff K.

@kouhei~ I just use the brush tool and outline the sketch at the bottom I work with 300dpi, so the brush makes the outlines look smooth anyways
Thanks guys for the comments

Interesting, yes I am sure your method is a lot faster, I should try it some time . I usually scan at an insanely hi rez like 1600 DPI and I use the eraser tool to smooth/clean the lines.
On a side note, taking credit for your work is a great idea, but splashing it across the picture is not a recieved as well. Anyone who wants to use your art as their own can easily remove that logo on your pics (I could do it in about 5 min) so that method id not protecting your work, it is just discouraging it's distribution.
Your call, just thought I would make the observation. I know I personally skip right over anything that has been stamped like that.

When I scanned in a pic at 600 dpi, it almost broke my scanner lol I need a new one =_=
Hmmm since you go to renchan too, I thought I didn't have to explain for those 2 Disgaea pics again ; You saw my other pictures, I don't have my watermarks across the page. Those two are exceptional because it's for my artbook. So I placed the watermark in front of the picture. If anybody wants to remove it, they can, I placed it there because I wanted to.
*tackles* Kouhei that's only 2 pictures xD I don't usually place watermarks like that Thanks for the note ne

A good high rez scanner is an invaluable tool to an artist . I will often hide layers I am not working on, print it and correct it before scanning it back in to keep working on it (Esp. if I am making dramatic changes to the background) I still don't have quite the talent to produce it exclusively in photoshop. Before coloring, photoshop is mostly an aid to me. It's during the coloring phase that it becomes invaluable. Until then the scanner, pencil paper and pen are the best tools IMHO. but then I can't argue with your results either ;;
K: Hmmm since you go to renchan too,
I honestly do not participate there as much as as I should, I would have liked to have seen your work even sooner . I am more a LAH artist who visits Renchan (Though I am a donor there, I only have about 1/4 of the posts there that I do here)

Noted, I was not trying to criticize you about it, just making the observation (If you look inside the clouds my angels sit on you will see my "watermark" there) Watermarks are great ideas, but as was pointed out to me long ago, you want to avoid making them too obvious
The great Northern master is only moved by the pure heart of a loli
But I shall allow you to wrap your arms around my legs like that if it adds amusement to your day ;; just avoid going up past the kneecaps

No worries, just giving my two cents, I would hope you could offer what advice you could to any of my work if you saw something that could be improved. After all, all my stuff is in photoshop layers, so it's really easy to work with for alterations.
I can certainly say I can't wait to see more of your work you are a very talented artist K. In fact were are quite blessed in this community to have a number of very talented people, and I am glad you have joined us
