Actually, the Heisenberg compensators are designed to remove the Heisenberg Uncertainty Factor, which is one of the things that prevents real-life large scale teleportation (small-scall teleportation is already possible though).

I KNOW what Heisenberg Compensators are for (I knew I was spelling that wrong.) I also know that they recrystalize dilithium crystals while they're still in the articulation frame. I meant exatly what you said; we can get arounf the laws of physics by various compensators.

Well....no. The Heisenberg compensators are specifically for removing the uncertainty factory from the measurement of atomic and sub-atomic particles while a mass is being materialised/dematerialised in the ACB. And while the transporter system has been used to perfom some minor miracles, it is the Deflector Dish that has been used for the most effects, including but not limited to: Time travel, Communications, and feeding interstellar creatures.

And the Heisenberg Compensators have nothing to do with re-crystalising the dilithium crystals.
