That error's usually solely attributable to the .reg file that some games come with. If it did come with one, doubleclick it and try running the game again in Win95 Compatibility mode.

My first was Nocturnal Illusion. Probably explains more near obsession with Yami no Koe. Does anybody remember Runaway City? It was touted as a "Pseudo-Sequel" to Season of Sakura. I tried to play it once, but it didn't work right. I think it must have DOS mode. (Back in the day of Win98) I got it working eventually -with text- and it was one helluva story. Bit tragic, all those bad ends, and it was supposed to have more than one good end, but I never figured it out, lol.
