Ai scares the shit out of me.
Been working with various decensor tools for a few months not and the results vary quite a bit. Mostly with flickering and other artifacts, blur and the like.

Sometimes you get a result and its better than "good enough" right out of the press, before you do any touch up on it.
This is a mega folder with the original video, treated with a weak anti flicker and a medium anti flicker. Medium is smoother animation but lacks fine details.
Also included are those same 2 videos treated with topaz (annoying watermarks included) and the current version of topaz i just updated to.
so 6 total versions +Raw.

Topaz has a lot of sliders to play around with and its hard to tell whats "better" given that all of the results are passable. You can try it yourself if you install topaz video ai. It will have the annoying watermark but you can still see the differences for yourself.

Sorry for late reply.

I am using jav player to decensor, which is fairly easy to use. just set the set the start and stop time and the models you want to use. there a re a few that you can use that get slightly different results, but the ones with a small antiflicker filter with the noise filter disabled tend to work the best.
This process can take several hours depending on video resolution but that will depend on your pc specs. It also takes a lot of space on disk so i would suggest using a ramdisk to prevent wearing out a SSD. for reverence, a 100 second clip of 1080p video used almost all of the 24gb ramdisk i setup, but this is because of the extra super resolution that i used. It looks great but takes a really long time. Some if the clips i ran took almost 8 hours on a gtx 1070. If you have something newer you can expect this to take only a few hours for long clips. Short previews might only take 5 or 10 mins depending on settings.

In topaz, use proteus model and play with the sliders. your looking for noise reduction, deblur, and dehalo strength, and your free to preview the results for your self.

Your goal is not to get the cleanest result from jav player, but something that topaz can clean up for you. That example video has a lot of detail in the mosaic that can be picked out by ai, but most cases your left with a bland shaft because why would someone add detail when it cant be seen anyway?

These are the completed decensors i ran. They need to be run through topaz and then masked over the original video because topaz treats the entire video and not just a small section. So basically overwrite the mosaic section with the processed/decensored part.

Also, these are not really "done" and these are the best results of the videos i looked at, it really depends on the video and the model. a lot of the videos in this thread just don't work very well because of the angle or flapping cloth. There are quite a few artifacts in these, so i will probably have to redo them but i am sharing them because they are a "good enough" to show as an example.
