Hello there,
Is this introduction time, like they have in anime every time a transfer student appears (man they do love transfer students, it almost creeps me out)?
So if I am the new transfer student (even though the whole school isn't talking about me, which is disappointing), here is my introduction:
I'm from France (like in Europe, ya know), and my fake name is Flying Horses (it comes from a song by American band Dispatch). I have two other names I use on the interweb -- my real one, and my usual nickname -- but I won't disclose them here. 
I'm male, in my early twenties. I love music -- I'm quite interested in the free/open music movement -- and literature, as well as anime. I'm not a big fan of manga (except loli manga... hum...), although scanlation groups helped me find some really good ones. Even though the French are the second best manga buyers in the world (bookstores sell more manga in France than in the States!), it's mainly manga targetting teenagers... and they tend to be really boring (both the teenagers and the manga targetting them).
By the way, best manga I've ever read were For Those of Us Who Don't Believe in God (one-shot by Hiroki Endo, 100 pages, scanlated by MangaScreener) and Indigo Blue (by Ebine Yamaji, scanlated by Lililicious -- though I discovered it through a French commercial edition). I love Yamaji-san's books. The art is just great, and I love the stories (I've had a soft spot for yuri ever since I've seen Marimite  ).
On contributing to the forum: since I don't read/translate japanese, I seldom have original content to offer. I might repost things from 4chan or notkochan or other places, when I think they might be appreciated by those who don't have them yet. But I guess I'll end up being a leecher most of the time. 
If you need help with some French though, just ask me. 
Ok, that's it. As they say in the anime: please take good care of me. 
PS : I'll try to write intelligible English. I could do it quite easily -- I'd just have to go for the common phrases, grammar, and vocabulary -- but that wouldn't be fun. I love to experiment with language. If that means that sometimes I'm not making any sense... so be it.

Infact I think mostly people here don't have english as mother tongue.
Anyway: enjoy your time posting, seeing pics, sharing pics and praticing your english.
By the way:
If you think you don't have much to contribute, at least post at the "discussion little angels" board and the "heavens pub". you seem to like talking so you might like discussing stuff
