A buddy at work screwed up his charger and sold me everything else (including 2 games and a 32MB memory card) for $100. I then went to Electronics Botique at the local mall and got a charger for $15.
I now have it set up to transfer files from my PC through wifi using Apache, and am RSS streaming my music to it. I also set up avisynth to convert my anime collection to mp4. Now all I need is a bigger memory stick. It's funny, another buddy at work has had a PSP for 6 months and is totally blown away by what I've managed to do in 2 days. He now wants to loan his memory stick to me so I can load it up with pr0n. 
Sat, DS is going to be my next acquisition, since it has a nice kanji dictionary program that I can order from Japan that'll look up kanji when I draw it on the screen. I want a tablet laptop, but the prices are still a bit daunting.
