Interesting new piece that you've posted. The background really draws the eye immediately with the red reminiscent of sunset. You've done an excellent job with your posing yet again. I love the view of her boots, legs, and the miniskirt with almost exactly the right hemline. The only thing is that the black jacket is so black and sort of shiny that I can't really make out any detail with her torso and barely any with her arms. Is there some sort of overhead light source for her hand, face, and supplying that remarkable reflection you have on the floor? The reflection is a nice touch! Whenever I look at your work, I continually spot new things. Thanks for sharing it!

thanks i actually shot the background locally at a failed housing development
i couldnt get the shadows the way i wanted but thats the cross i bear.

i got my umbrella softbox now i just need a connecter for my speedlight to connect to the softbox and light stand

I'm curious how much you had to do to get the floors to look that nice and polished.

not that much i just change the lighting model to glossy then i boost the reflection to where i want it and play with the lights a bit

so i wanted to apologize for not being as active ive had a host of issues starting with a sinus infection from hell and ending with a snow storm which has cost me 2 work days

No need to apologize. Life can be like that. The storms impacted millions of people and there will be more. I hope your sinus condition eases up. Soup, spicy food, inhaling warm steam, and/or rest are about all I can recommend.

so im working on a new piece and i dont know how i feel about it ,
on a seperate note the snow and ice will finally melt off monday as it warms up and starts raining

So last monday i had a colonoscopy and went on with my life.
that is until today when they called with the lab results.one of the polyps is cancerous now i have to see a surgeon in bartlett and im honestly scared because cancer is what took my mom please pray for me that the results of the forthcoming consult and surgery i cant keep doing this

I don't know what to say. That is a frightening diagnosis. If you've done these procedures before, it may be that they found it early. If it was just one polyp, then it's probably limited. I don't know if genetic screening for the sample is available. A lot of progress has been made in targeting specific kinds of cancer, which gives you additional targeted treatment besides surgery.

Take whatever steps you can to relax so that the stress of it doesn't wear you down. That's an important part of dealing with something like this. I hope you have someone who can be there with you when you need them. Every bit can make it a little easier.
