Calamine is pretty mild stuff. Good for soothing, so-so for healing, but very traditional. Hope it works.

oh, its stupid the repair guy came in Saturday to fix the central air he saw one of the dogs who is a total sweetheart and took off now he's saying the dog bit him, so the landlord refused to renew the lease
im going to a local trailer park later today to see if they have anything affordable

That's stupid. The repairman should at least have to have shown the supposed bite. How many dogs do you have? Many places get restrictive about dogs based on size, not just number.
Keep an eye out while you're at the trailer park. Those places don't have the best reputation.

Every single thing I have read about Amazon's fulfillment centers points toward a company that abuses its employees, demands physical labor strenuous enough to induce miscarriages, and delivers next to zero advancement opportunities. The churn or turnover of people working at the centers can exceed 100% in a year, meaning they have to replace just about everyone. This is deliberate. Bezos has contempt for the workers and believes that they get lazy if they're around for more than two or three years. Amazon does not promote people from the lower levels. It hires management straight into those positions. Please DO NOT work for them. Your existing physical injuries will only get worse and Amazon will just use you up like it does anyone and everyone.

I'm not sure what employment opportunities are like where you live. The market's supposed to be tight, or tighter than it was, so there should hopefully be something for you.

That's rough. It's like the working class debt trap. Not even retail? Pay's lousy, but the work isn't usually as bad.
I've read about people lured in by Amazon because it gives better starting pay, but it then just grinds them up and dehumanizes them. Everything's monitored (constant tracking and observation of everything you do and how long it takes you to do it) and run by the computers, and if those malfunction, too bad for the employees.
