Trying to keep to the topic here..but wanna ask...though it seems stupid...r u guys/gals pro? or the drawings u all have done were just out of hobbies and fun? It looked really good lots of them i've seen in this forum...many of u can make it in the industry... 
I've been practicing...not just on loli...but lots of stuffs...but couldn't get that standard...been surviving just on my passion for it...currently working creating characters for my sch project...challenging stuff...coz it's GONNA C THE INDUSTRY...  ...not for sale haha...and I'm very scared...took it up challenging myself...any pointers?
I write stories too...haha...

Get one good drawing that you like ( preferably with good clean lines) and keepdrawing the same picture and try to improve yor drawing each time. This way you will see your progress and not repeat mistakes with each new drawing. Notice how smooth lines go from thick to thin- or are smooth flowing if they are the same thickness. good luck Kossak

Here's my first little guide for aspiring artists out there, it's about height! For anime, the legs are typically a little longer than the upper half of the body, but that's more of a stylistic thing. I'd also suggest, if you're going to be drawing a character more than once, working out character sheets. Everything from a turn around(which would include a profile, 3/4's view, a frontal view and a rear view) and also work out constants for things like head sizes, hand sizes, eye size/shape, and expressions if you're so bold.

Well they sell art reference books with drawings of nude images at various stages of growth, and obviously those aren't taken away, but I can see what you mean, I'll edit it out for safety's sake.

The way I look at it in terms of art, it's not about representing a person of a certain age at all, but instead about choosing proportions which one finds pleasing. I use 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 heads, because those are the proportions that I like. Proportions are simply a matter of style, anyway.

Let your hands do what comes naturally. Look around and get a feel for the community. Take the examples you like and leave the rest. Once you're in the practice of drawing your hands will know what to do when your imagination takes over.
