Problem with .Bin files |
Quote |
I searched to see if an answer to this question was already on here but couldn't find it. If the answer is already here plz just direct me to the answer. If not here is my question.
When I use MEGA to download some of the games I get .ISO and .BIN files. The .ISO files are easy to deal with I just Extract them thru my 7Z and they work but the .BIN files my 7Z won't extract. Now I have been hearing things about mounting and when it comes to computers I am a total klutz. Now is the problem with the .BIN files is that I am not mounting them, and if so how do I mount them, or is my problem something else.

Why the heck are you extracting ISO files.....
You don´t extract them, you open them with with Daemon tool or other programs like it.

Why do that when the iso files work just fine. besides it is not the iso files I need help with. it is the bin files that are the trouble.

Thanks for nothing guys, luckily I found people talking about Daemon Tools and found out that that it was what I needed. Someone could have just told me that instead of you guys being morons but I guess your entire generation is like that. I am glad I am not a part of your generation.

But Anyien told you in your first reply
Frankly, extracting ISOs is a terrible waste of space, what's why everyone is wondering what you were doing. By the way, I strongly discourage from using daemon tools. They upload everything you mount into a public global database for everyone to see.
Use Virtual clone drive or Microsoft's own mounting tool.
EDIT: Actually, it even says so in our rules.

Your rules certainly have changed since I last been here, and it is partly my fault for not going thru them again. however if all replies were like yours Sat then there would never be a reason to get angry. Sorry.

Daemon does that? Hm, I knew there was a reason I used power iso, not like people seeing what I have bothers me though

^ Seems you were not specific enough when implying that both .iso and .bin are similar disk image types for OP to figure out.
