I played this game, went to bed, and woke up in the 'middle of the night' (7 : 30 a.m.) absolutely starving for some unknown reason. I have now decided to write the review that I promised.
Yukuri Panic Review
I played this overly simple game at first and didn't understand it right away. Unlike most lolicon games, this game was quick and to the point. The games were relatively simple to beat and the rewards were pretty gratifying. When compared to most games that leave you clicking through endless japanese to get to something that'd be more easily accessible in a nearby Comic LO, Yukuri Panic thrives.
Yukuri Panic is a game where in order to experience a desired erotic scene within the game, you must jump through 'the hoop' so to speak, in order to obtain said erotic scene. I almost feel like a monkey whose being forced to jump through loops to get to where he wants to go. The least Yukuri Panic could have is a story if they were going to do such things to us monkeys =). Since when was there ever a desired "Short-Get-To-The-Sex-Scene-Fast" game that forced you to jump through hoops?
The worst part is when you fail. As far as I could tell there was no way to save the game! You have to go right back to the beginning and start all over again. The music that was made for the game was also poor. Download a midi-maker, spend a week or two (or less depending on your skill level), and voila: Yukuri Panic.
Yukuri Panic also fails in comparison to games such as Sacred Plume. 3D is definitely the best (and most desired) way to go these days when it comes to these sorts of games. I, myself, have not beaten Sacred Plume, but even the game play of what I did play of Sacred Plume kept me 'itching' for more.
In Yukuri panic, the gameplay was annoying and repetetive. A box encompasses the screen with a 'target' around the border of this 'box'. Using your arrow keys, you can maneuver around the box both clockwise and counterclockwise. By pressing and holding the enter key, you are then given the ability to move within the box (by means of arrow keys) leaving a yellow train behind you with a goal to connect at another end of the box whilst avoiding all hazards along the way. Once accomplished, the smaller 'piece of box' on the smaller side of the 'yellow trail' proceeds to destroy itself thus clearing the picture behind the 'box' more and more while progressing the 'sex scene' further and also giving you any bonuses that you managed to chop off along the way. In total, you have to do this three times in order to have any form of gratifying sex scene. Way to go, Yukuri Panic; what a tease.
Another thing I didn't like about this game was that there was no way to tell that you had any 'lives'. Your first game over will probably come as a shock (unless you can read Japanese), and who wants that?! Though I'm sure this was clarified to a greater extent in the Japanese version, I rate for the majority English Speaking audience.
Though I could go on and on about the cons, I shall now stop here.
The last thing I will mention about Yukuri Panic is that despite its cons, it did yet have one final pro: Its amazingly erotic scenes. In my opinion, your view on sex changes greatly after having lost your virginity for the first time. Certain things viewed after said case seem more appealing than others and in this case, Yukuri Panic was there for the win. All in all, the game was OK, but by any stretch of the imagination, this game was by no means better than par.

kylegonjinn: Great game! Anyone able to get past level 5 (redhead gets tied up)? I could use some tips.
So far, I've made to to the second "bonus rush playthrough where you get no powerups except for time bubbles"
Among the tips I have at the moment:
1. Do not try to grab powerups directly from the edge of the screen, gradually remove chunks to move closer to the powerups so you dont extend your cutting line to enemies.
2. The enemies that track along the edges you created will not harm you if you stay on the edge while they pass over you.
3. the bubble enemies will not damage any cutting line you're creating, so dont worry about crossing their path.
4. Build "walls" to block missile enemies, it will make those levels easier
5. You dont need to get a powerup entirely inside your cutting area to obtain it, just the very center of it.
6. Watch enemy patterns, they may seem confusing at first, but eventually you will see a hole.
7. By pressing the arrow key in the opposite direction of your cut, you can briefly hold your character in place, best for luring magnetic enemies away from a powerup with your line, and for avoiding that enemy that's about to cross in front of you.
8. Even if your line is hit, you still have a short time to reach a finished edge, so dont panic if an enemy comes close to it. Also, the further away the hit, the more time you have.
9. When in stage 1 or 2 of a level, you can damage the next stages "boss" by dealing a large amount of damage to the current boss if its health is low, so if you have a lot of time remaining , see if you can't take out a large portion of the current stage.
10. Just because you have 6 lives doesn't mean you should be williing to sacrifice any of them; remember that the "pow" powerups transfer from stage to stage in a level, but are forever lost when you loose a life.
I know most of this is obvious, but they are things to keep in mind.
Is there a way to save your game? The games seems to have a file save option when you click the little button in the corner during the game, but nothing there seems to work.

So how do I do that? I've clicked on the blue square that spins, and clicked on the first and second boxes to the left that appear. These look like a save/load file screen, but nothing seems to work on it.
I dunno if anyone is able to help, but I'm having problems extracting the files from the .rar
The rar opens fine in Winrar, and I can see every folder and file, and all their sizes, but when the extraction completes, nothing actually extracts. When I right click the .rar and tell it to extract, it says no archives found. Does anybody have any idea why?
EDIT: Re-downloaded the .rar several times again, and still got the same problem. Other rar's work fine, so I dunno what the problem is. Please re-up if you can
the name of folder is in japanese, perhaps your computer does not have the right setting to extract japanese files. if that's the problem, then just switch the language into japanese in control panel.
That's the only thing I can think of... if that doesn't work, then I really don't know why.
