This looks like the best spot for a suggestion I guess...

When you're on a page looking at threads, and you see the column of the author, how about adding their post count in parenthesis? That way, in the requests, you can just see and laugh at the 1 post requesters and not even bother opening that thread?

Example:

Topic__________________________________Author
Something that's been requested already_____Newbie (1)

Well, to tell the truth, we are a bit busy writing a lot of code for lah, we don't want to slow it down even more by database queries searching for the user's postcount of every thread... Also, most people wouldn't understand it, either.

I will look at it when we are done with what we're doing, if you like, though.

I was just throwing the idea out there. I don't have any experience with php and the coding you're doing , so I didn't know if my suggestion would be difficult or something that could be whipped up in seconds. I just know HTML, Javascript (not enough to do anything impressive without referring to other existing code), some Pascal, and XML. I was curious to see if others would agree and such about the suggestion.

I guess it might be difficult. Suddenly various people are requesting wierd stuff being added to the forum. I am starting to feel depressed and busy, lol.

Woah... don't over-do it... don't let something you love become a job you no longer enjoy... I'm sure everyone here loves LAH as it currently is so you can improve it at your own pace... even sit back and admire what you've already done. It is indeed awesome. Thanks for all that you've done.

Like I told you via MSN, don't let the bastards grind you down. If these people can't code to save their life, they should be a bit kinder in their requests.
