If anyone can help translate/understand the menu system and stuff that'd be great, I always suck at navigating the H-scenes in his games since I can't read hiragana very well, let alone kanji lol

Almost every game Ekicon makes has sold at least 2000 copies. In most cases those sales are through DLsite not DMM (I can't find Fantia sales or monthly paying users).
All the games are at most 1650 yen so it may be that Ekicon can't/won't raise the price for games that take more work to make.
The last two games have been done on the WOLF game engine which is basically a clone of RPG maker. This is likely the cause for the format change as WOLF can't do interactive design like flash and HUMANBALANCE Ltd. could. It just isn't possible to do a point and click touch style of game with WOLF.
Not sure about legal restrictions in Japan or DLsite but it could be that the lack of toddler/loli/shota content is due to the ToS of DLsite. Also Ekicon not wanting to put work into scenes that will be removed on DLsite.
Based on some of Ekicon's comments, they likely had help or took a huge amount of time to make the RPG (Fairy Hunter Legends) and the Diaper Doll game. The WOLF game engine can't do another Diaper Doll but should be able to handle another RPG with enough invested effort.
The DLsite ratings for the newest game are very high so it is doubtful that Ekicon will try anything different in the future if this is what sells well without requiring an excessive amount of work like the previous games.
Not like i want to sound rude i am grateful for all the content he provided trough years honest but... with each work the quality drops more and more the moment he/they started dabbling in that rpg format it went to shit, i understand the thing about being inexpereinced in that field etc but isnt it a comfy excuse? the problem is in the qulity of the scenes its becoming stale, short, halfassed even. The format from before was best, maybe it didnt have costumes LiGhtInG OpTionS and all that stuff but every work had character was unique it even had decent plot (machine translating here but it was understadable) But if it comes push to shove im happy that he still is around to pump up new works. Was my first contact with loli/toddy content loooong loong ago i still remember finding sii001 ami001 etc. of his works and scouring the depths of internet to find every single one, ahh good times good times <3

I think the low quality compared to previous games/novels may be due to the decrease in the work team, most likely. As you said, surely he has worked alongside someone with programming knowledge and surely someone else who helps him with animations and scenes. Because if you look at his posts on Fantia, he even planned a shota yaoi scene for the boy, there's even a sketch, but the animation wasn't done or released.
That's what I think, if I try to find an explanation.
I just hope they can do some shota yaoi scene, or finish that one at least. I really like their stuff.

I have to advise you guys not to support him anymore until his content improves. The level of quality for his games have seriously plummeted since the last game. Only 7 animations with one of them being repeated for 4 of the girls, no scenes with mating press, anal, blowjobs, good usage of the milf, yaoi scene, kissing, breast sucking, or unique animation for each girl. Its a shame that he can't do RPG style games anymore but that's no excuse for why a Mama wa Iran-esque game is off the table. It seems that he's lost his passion for making these games so I recommend not wasting your money for mediocre production

It's really a shame, after almost an entire year (11 months to be exact) this newest release is extremely underwhelming. Like many in this thread have stated before I really think he lost his edge, don't really know what he's trying to do by adding a bunch of custom costumes but then only including like 2 animations for a majority of the girls. He really needs to go back to making games focused on 1 or 2 girls at most and coming up with a bunch of scenes for them. I'm still gonna support the guy by buying his games, but it really sucks how we all wait this long for something this mediocre.
Agree with you here. Almost a year and the only content they could make was recycled between most of the girls and the unique ones aren't even that great. I don't know how they managed to do it, but this ended up being worse than their last release. I was really hoping their last work was nothing more than a test or something, so they could get used to WOLF. Judging by this release though, I don't think that's the case anymore.
Fairy Hunter GO is probably my favourite of their works becuase it has everything I could want from one of their games; big dicks wrecking the holes of lolis, a toddler, pregnancy/birth and having some great bulges for good measure. Even if the toddler only got one scene, it's still the 2nd best scene for me.
Their recent stuff has been massively disappointing on that front. Sure, the little inflation stuff is nice, but it's not the same as a stomach deformation. Likewise, I find the birth scene to be, out of place I guess? It's like they just added it in just so they could it include it. Whereas the other games like Mama, Fairy Hunter and Disciplining Daughter in Laws, it kinda makes sense that by the end there'd be pregnancy somewhere.
I've still bought it just because I'd rather they still be able to make these works, mainly hoping that they'd go back and do another game like Fairy Hunter GO.

I personally gotta say i disagree with this. If people stopped supporting him he'd most likely stop making games all together. I really like his works, and I want him to improve, so if anything i'd buy his works and leave a comment under his fantia or wherever you bought his games about what you'd like to see improved. I'm just as disappointed as everyone else, but you gotta keep in mind that this is mainly just one dude making these games and it probably takes a lot of time and effort to make them, considering it sounds like he's alone now and doesn't have much programming help. It's part of this dude's living, so i'd rather keep supporting him and maybe leaving the occasional critique

Oh man, that explains a lot. It's not really in their nature to blame shortcomings on illness so I'm sure this was hard for them to come out and say. And the way he says it so casually makes it seem like he doesn't want to trouble anyone with the news. Hope he recovers, cancer is a bitch.
That being said, if you've been enjoying the free content, you should definitely consider buying a few of them. The guy has cancer for Christ's sake.
