Hey there!
The changes announced on the anniversary page are continuing!
These are mostly cosmetic, but here's what is new:
Our pages' structure is now up to web standards. A lot of how the pages are rendered has been rewritten.
If you notice something out of place, we did not do our job properly, report to us in this thread.
All posts' text and content now respect the maximum width. Say goodbye to weird stretched pages
We might give you options to select your own max width in the future.
Quick reply now has a fadein effect
If you have JavaScript disabled, Spoilers will now be open until you enable it.
Spoilers also have a quick fadein effect now and show the "hand" cursor when you move the mouse cursor above the "Click here to see spoiler" area.
Other minor changes:
- The text line below the logo has a new background;
- Tidied up the PM section;
- Fixed some abnormal spacing in some pages for Chrome/Safari/IE;
- Fixed the "pulling up" bug which caused the pages to be pulled a couple pixels up once they're loaded;
- Some overall performance tuning to make your LAH experience more enjoyable.
ps. Special thanks to Sat for translating my changelogs into human-readable stuff. If you don't understand half of this post, odds are those parts were just written by me.

Rofl! POMF POMF sound effects for spoilers, that's just genius. Lol it's your fault for giving me ideas if it ever gets implemented.
I was going to post the original changelog, but following Sat's advice those logs would just explode the brains of 99% of the readers.
And sleep? Wuts dat? I got 3 weeks of delayed linux sh*t due tomorrow and said I'd make the uni project's sales system this weekend which I didn't even get started - well I'm pretty sure I can do 3 weeks worth of linux stuff in one night and there's always time for uni projects.

The second (or is the third?) batch of updates has been released!
Some of the changes:
Improved accessibility:
- You can now click on any checkbox/radio buttons' text to toggle them!
Cross-browser/rendering issues:
- Quick Reply now renders correctly on Safari;
- Poll options' text now align to left on all browsers (IE and Opera used to center-align those);
- The "Please Login or Register to see attachments" message displayed to guests when viewing a thread with attachments now renders correctly (this one escaped my first reviewing);
- The posting page's BBCode buttons now render properly on IE6.

And soon enough the whole site will be rewritten in Node before Sat even realizes. Maybe not so soon.

Depends, if jacxxx supports it
J --> never wait for me, I'm usually 10+ years behind
And soon enough the whole site will be rewritten in Node
J --> why not?
I remember the radio buttons/ check boxes had to be handled carefully, it's a good thing they have been upgraded. And the other updates/upgrades, good work
But, eh... could I insert in this post a question like: "Do you know Node?"[button=radio/checkbox][*radio]Never heard about it[*radio]Vaguely remember it[*radio]Can't imagine it has not been implemented yet[*checkbox]Please tell me more about it[/button]

^ Guess there isn't much of an use for that unless the data is stored somewhere, hence you can make a poll in a new topic in a fitting forum and link to it.

I like these minor developments, they were really necessary.
I am aware that a "priority tree" is in existence. (I hope it gets enough water and sunshine.) But...
Removable Poll issue:
If you start a thread with undefined term poll you can never remove it. (At least I can't.) But it would be good if I can in case of threads like: this, where the poll makes no longer sense.
Does the implementation of such extensions take too much time?

Currently, Mods and Admins can remove the poll for you (if you ask nicely ). Lol but seriously, with that said, this is more of a permission issue. IMO it makes sense that the thread's OP would be able to edit/remove the poll at a later date. I'll check if Sat agrees when he has time and may implement it then.
I'm thinking of possible drawbacks to that first though, for one, if it's allowed to edit the poll options at a later date, you could technically delete an option and re-insert another with the same text to reset its vote count, let alone renaming options' that have been voted on to manipulate the poll results. Maybe I could allow just the "delete poll" option, or maybe also allow deleting/updating only options that had no votes so far. Well we will see.

I see, that's how Obama became president. First there were 3 options: Obama, Paris Hilton and David Bowie. Then they removed the last two and replaced with John McCain.
No, seriously... I think only being able to delete the poll by the OP will be just fine. I don't speak about improving/changing the poll system.

Alright, adding it to the dev tree, let's wait for the sunshine now.

As requested, I've alleviated some of the permission checks and now regular users are able to delete their own polls, even after the poll has received votes.
Note that you still cannot (except mods+) modify poll options after the poll has received votes, however, regular users can delete the poll at any time and even insert a new one now.

Ulty, it was fast... you are fast. Thank you for your quickness. (:
Now I will delete that poll.

Well, I spent all day sleeping (body doesn't hurt any more but the headache still won't go away), anyway it didn't take 2 hours to split the templates, edit the permissions and test it. Report if you find any bugs.
Well, guess this concludes the small fixes & improvements that followed the anniversary update, so this thread still serves for reporting possible bugs from the rendering change and related stuff.
Now we may focus in bigger, visible changes when we have free time.
