Ubuntu and flash files |
Quote |
I recently downloaded some Yosino collections
http://lah.li/20856/mf-yosino-momiji-collection-updated-02-07-2012/?page=7
I'm running Ubuntu and using firefox to play the flash files, the flash plays fine until an animated sequence, in which there is nothing. I have no clue how to get these working, and multiple google searches and several trial and errors later have failed me at this point.
If anyone has any experience with flash and linux and can help on getting these animated sequences working would be much appreciated.

I'm not expert on linux, but regarding flash, did you try running it with a flash player or another browser ? Also, make sure your flash is up to date, can never hurt. If an animation isn't starting, that means that either the command is not recognize or something prevent the actual animation to play properly. No error message at all ?

This has nothing to do with Flash, but instead how *nix systems handle path names' case-sensitiveness. See this post for details.

Good advice btw, and also check the file permissions. I had a similar issue and once I made permissions were set correctly my flash and gif files all played correctly.
