(Another) Learning to draw Thread!

Hello all,

I've always been pretty terrible with drawing; even my hand writing looks like that of an eight year old. Earlier this week I came accross a small "how to draw anime" guide, and decided to spend a couple of hours studying it. Personally I am shocked that they resemble anything other than marks on a page, but they are of course still completely amature Laughing

So what do you think of my first attempt? I am browsing through the sticky coaching thread but I welcome any pointers here too Smile

try to paint with soft lines first (sketch) and then make stronger harder lines (outlines)
find the simple forms u need and understand for painting a anime girl or loli

lolis got a far different body then adult womans
less curves no big tits
eyes bigger head seems round

try around with eyes, nose and mouth
if its better then the nose is high or low
near to the mouth ..the eyes bigger or sharper

Thanks for the advice there. Obviously I have not tried any loli stuff yet I am just practicing different features, but with my interest in LAH I will be drawing and submitting stuff when I am comfortable with my skills Smile

I am still pretty heavy handed so I find it hard to do the soft lines to start, but a softer pencil has helped.
