My world: I´m working in a mensual comic strip about political humor (Puaj! But they pay me, you know) and give private draw classes to some kids, I started to study in an Art School but quit (can´t stand scultures and hand works like that, I just like to draw^^) now I´m in a private drawing school. In this days I´m preparing some work (a manga!) for an editorial to see if they like it, if they DO like it and publish it, it will be my first professional work!!!! So I´m so damn excited that I can´t possibly explain it It´s like the dream of my life. Here I put some pics of my first comic and some (not related to the comic) extra character sketches. Thanks for reading this, ´cause you take your time to know about me and what I do and I really appreciate that, thanks a lot!

If you have seen the other post you have seen that my stile is pretty realistic so, to make some lolita version of any character I actually have to start practicing how to!!! Lolitas anatomy, body proportions and a lot of boring stuff probably for you so ignoring that I make my firsts lolitas pics, they´re just sketches, sorry about the quality actually I was proving all that stuff I mention before so they´re a little static and just nude for now, no sex action of color, please be pacient with time I will make the final version of them, and with some more practice I know they´ll be a lot better. I accept all kind of comments but please make them seriously because I really take them in count, well bye for now.

I really like the second sketch with the creepygirl and doll. Life drawing is good way of getting better, for realistic and/or cartoons and comics...

Well anyway goodluck with the urban angels comic.

Just a note on the proportions you're changing, it's easy to make the assumtion that big heads = loli but it simply dosn't work.

Basically, loli's have either a bean torso or a sack hourglass (heavier at the bottom) but the shoulders are never wider than the hips. Big shoulders is a very male look wheras the feminine is to have them smaller, even a muscular woman will usually follow this rule (don't get me started on why female body builders are just wrong Crying or Very sad ). The hips are wide from the base, after all, babies come out of there.

Finally, you can't have a style that's 'pretty realistic', it's either realistic or it's not as far as anatomy, perspective and proportion go, detail is extranious. I've long been of the opinion that if you can draw realistically, you can draw any way you please, as working backwards and stylising are really just astetic decision making. The best artists study the old masters, it's really a dead end to dedicate yourself to copying one stylised idiom.

Wow, sorry if that came across a bit ranty but I've seen far too many artists get themselves stuck and unable to figure out why.

This are really good advices you´re givin me (yep, I hate those heads too, and the characters doesn´t have 7 1/2 heads what is the normal, a problem for me) , maybe "realistic" is a bad way of define my stuff I just wanna notice the difference of having a Humberto Ramos stile compared with, don´t know, Adam Hughes for example, so that´s why I defined mine like "realistic", I too believe that when you learn how to draw realistically you can draw wherever you like. I´m read a lot of drawing material, now I´m with Andrew Loomis´s "Figure drawing for all it´s worth" and Scott McCloud "Understanding comics: The invisible art" and sorry Embarassed but I think that in some time one must start to develop what it´ll be his stile even if you don´t want to ´cause you can´t pass your all life copying another drawers works whitout having some improvement by yourself and that don´t mean I don´t copy a lot of different ones, when I started I emulated Humberto Ramos and of course Carlos Meglia and in that time I believe that It was gonna be my all life stile and you see now that it has nothing of that and I see it in the others students, this "grown", so sorry but I do believe in work your own stile, well men thanks again for the free advices I´m working on that lolitas heads! Ha! Very Happy Here are two more that I don´t have time to include last time, but I´ll change the all concept that for sure.

That's all good, just don't try to force a particular style. The best advice I was ever given was to keep drawing, adapt constantly to new ideas and let a style happen on it's own.

Thanks a lot! really, well I made another character called Madeleine, a little cute french loli, I´ll try to put her in another manga for the forum and I will continue the Ashley and Candy story for sure, the thing is that the editorial that I send my manga material like it Feather Kawaii 3 and I´m waiting for an answer to know if they will publish it or not Razz so the new art will come --maybe a little slowly but It will-- since I got my scanner back too, so that´s it and sorry but I´ll probably make some changes to the 2 girls for better I hope.
