Ah the joys I had with American English when I was teaching myself HTML, scratched my head for so long wondering why "colour" wasn't working.

The problem is with these boards is that there's no way to convey your intentions fully, since there's no facial expressions, no body language, no tone of voice, etc, etc. It's hard to pick just the right words to convey a tone.

You know, some of us can't read those things anyway, so things actually are clearer on the message board, where noone can hide their meaning behind body language, facial expressions, tone of voice.....

I agree. Although there's always room for entendre. I do think that message boards do clear up what a person means at the time that they post it. Even if a person's opinion or feeling changes throughout a conversation, I think that the way you use your words accompanies what you mean to say, and it comes across clearly. It might be different for someone who is not a native speaker of English.

Also, if this artist has made another Skirt Boy manga, would it be worth posting a link to it?

Personally, I find it lovely. The femmy boy is just delicious, you've produced precisely the kind of stuff I like, the 'cadrage' is good and the drawing is OK, though of course it could do with being 'cleaner' or 'clearer'. The jealous girl at the end was a cute little touch. Thankyou!

Thanks for the favs on deviantart! I found it funny that I found my amateurish work here. I did that one a while ago and have gotten a lot of practice since. XD I suppose the clarity suffered drastically, comparatively to other doujin, since I decided to do it in pencil. I hope one day in the future, I can go back and redraw them in a cleaner, more professional format. By then, I hope to be far better than I am now.

I've two more shounen skaato stories I'm working on, but haven't uploaded anyplace yet. What is "cadrage", by the way?

'cadrage' means the casing... I don't know the English term. The choice and placement of boxes.
