Things I'd like to share

Guess I was up too late last night. Anyway, I couldn't sleep. so here's the rocking horse I worked on today. Enjoy!

I saw Red Riding Hood with my wife the other night and had an idea I hashed out yesterday.

I convinced my wife to come home early, so this is what I was working on today. The end of the weekend really sucks some time.

Well it's April fools day. I took it off so I don't have to worry about all the crap that might happen today. April 1st is always an unpredictable day and it's never very fun for techies. Last year I spent the day running around pulling masking tape off the bottom of peoples optical mice because they couldn't figure out why the mouse wasn't working. Oh, some co-workers are sooooo funny. They get to laugh, while I get yelled at because I don't have enough hands to help the 300+ people they decided to play pranks on.

Anyway, because it's my day off, I thought I'd spend some time drawing. This month is starting off with a bit of a furry theme. I was reading one of the RP threads yesterday (hxxp://littleangelshentai.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20238) and found a very cute description of a catgirl. So I put it in graphite. Maybe I'll have time to color it tomorrow. For now it's back to video games.

Thanks Tonkato. I don't know what you mean by "homogeneous". If you can describe or demonstrate it better. I'd definitely try it. For now here's another coloring.

So a new version of Blender was released recently and I thought I'd have a look at it. I do some 3D modelling here and there just for fun. I'm sure I'm OK, but as you can see not great. The model looks ok in my opinion, but because I created the model before thinking about the rigging the result is it doesn't deform properly and looks award.

So I'm still on my 3D kick and I decided that since I'm having such a hard time with posing a solid model I'd try something else. So I created a "Robot" style model to try and figure out where the joints aren't quite rotating correctly. I'm fairly happy with how it came out.

I've also been playing with the particle feature and trying to get some better looking hair... That I'm not so happy with. Let me know what you think.
