Just a quick question, whenever I try to run any of the three "setup" applications, it just freezes and nothing happens.

Yes, you just have to let it sit there for a while and it will eventually load

So the game now works, to a point. I can get to the title screen and click on the lower two options, Memory Mode and CG Mode, but clicking on anything else causes the program to stop working. Any ideas?

Most likely you is having the same problem I am.....You haven't got your non-unicode settings to japanese. quite a few of these games need that.

Once you handle that you be fine eh. Smile

I know this is a stupid question, but hope someone help me with it. How does torrents work? I installed uTorrent, and tried downloading something to see if it works, and it didn't start download. I never used torrents before and would like to know how.

Ha ! There are probably many fewer people who use torrents than do direct download. I could spend one half hour with you at your computer and you would only have an introduction to torrent use. I choose not to write a manual here on their use... the technical side, the ins and outs, the gotchas, the tricks, the patience required, etc. I suggest you ask google for an overview and then refer to the help files in your torrent client.

Torrents don't always work... or work instantly. There must be others sharing the file you are interested in at the same moment... it is real time... the files are stored only as 'shared' files on the computers of those who are sharing. You also must have patience to allow your request to process through the trackers... this may take some minutes before the download starts (if the file is being shared at that moment).

All that being said, torrents are the best for some situations. For example, you could leave a torrent file alive (active) even with no sharing available, and find the next morning that someone in Japan, or wherever, started to seed that file overnight many hours later... on the other hand many have waited for months for a rare file. And... a few days ago I downloaded a popular 2.7 GB file in slightly over two hours with download speed mostly between 250 mbs and 600 mbs.

Basically, it's all about patience then. Well, that's all I really need to know. Since the download didn't start, I thought it was just a virus or something. I thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
