Holy crap it's a miracle.
I actually got some time and motivation to work on this a little.
I finally added some shading and trimmed down her monster eyebrows a bit.
Not quite sure what I'm gonna do next, she needs a mouth but last time I tried that it came out kinda freaky.
I also kinda suck at appendages, hence the reason she has no toes and you can't see her hands :p
Well, hopefully I'll think of something.
As always, comments are welcome

I'll probably get around to it eventually, when I get some more free time and motivation.
You can see my previous effort earlier in the thread though.

I couldn't think what I should do to my other picture next, so I whipped this one up quick.
I'm not really very happy with it, I think the shading looks like crap and I had meant to draw her fingers there holding it open, but I couldn't get them to look right.
Oh well, not bad for like a half hour of work I suppose.
EDIT: Well, I went back to my other pic anyway. I added a little more detail, and I think I'm done with it now, unless someone would want to make a background for me. I was gonna draw her laying on a bed or something, but I started and realized it was gonna be a big pain in the ass. Plus, it's not something I've tried drawing before.
Anyways, enjoy

It's interesting watching the progress of your drawings. The shading really brings them to life.

Thank you very much, though I must confess something about the sense of anatomy thing......
I kinda cheat
I started from a 3d model on the base layer, and then sketched on top of it, to help things in proportion/perspective.
That's why I tend to have trouble with hands/feet and faces, because the model doesn't really help with that kinda thing.
I wish I had the time and motivation to learn to draw properly, but I'm usually too busy (or lazy), and posing the models to work with is a pain (my comp really struggles with it), but maybe sometime here I'll get around to trying some more stuff.

Hello I'm a new guy ard here...I've just seen ur drawings...and read thru the comments, well firstly there's no nd to be ashame of the "cheating" ur talking abt...wat ppl are looking for is the end product... ...
I assume deep in u wanted to be able to draw without the aid...but meantime try touching up the features that would bring out the character...the other parts comes later...
Keep working on it...i wanna c how u will develop into!

I did another little sketch. Just a quick one to try out my new tablet pc, and it's kind of a self portrait kinda sketch I suppose.
Not sure if I like it yet or not, we'll see what happens.

I think you definitely show promise. You have a lot of the important fundamentals down, and you are doing the most important thing of all. You are practicing to improve your skills and it shows.
That BTW is a decent drawing for freehand on a tablet. I confess I always have to draw mine first then ink/scan/clean/color. I would like to do freehand on the computer but I find it difficult to not see where my pencil connects with the paper
I have been meaning to try a tablet for the purpose of "on the go" sketches and project touch ups but I have not taken that opportunity yet. Did you find you had to a lot of correcting and redoing? Or was it really fluid to work with like pen or pencil to paper?
Anyway, keep up the good work
