SRW over the years has released enough original characters to even devote an entire game to them and their back stories nya. This is for images featuring the original characters.

A side note, the series is called Taisen sometimes instead of wars nya.

I should also mention that the series has garnered two animes as well based off the original generation games nya. And also some characters have quite popular followings, no doubt due in part to the fact they are often featured being dressed up at some point in the games even if it doesn't show you it nya.
