hm i outlined the lain yuri pic with fineliner after i scanned it first.
i wanted a try with colors, but unsure if i post it later because mostly
i make something wrong -.-
Edit:
so i used the smudge tool to change the pencil lines into a bit blured shadow
and then made color in new layers over.
its not ready, because i have to stop working atm
got visitors from australia and have to babysitting for the child of them ~.~
i want to add some more colors to the puppets and the bed and so on.
and then make an layer with more shadows and lights, so what the hair
gets darker, the puppets getting fur and so on  '
and thinking about something for the eyes

I didn't mind the blackandwhite one nya, but this ones still ok. Just remember to darken Lain and Rakkas hair to the right shades. As for Lains eyes they always get colored wierd outside the show evenin official art, purple, hazelnut, green, red, orange. Maybe something like that?

looking for a easy painting stile for lolis i decided to try some stiles i found and trying them out on some old papers i found in a box from, i got from my grandpa.
i think there could be hundred or thousands of the little papers in there '
atm i like the .hack stile with rena, shugo in mireiyu, very much x3
i had forgot how cute mireiyu was 
now i will try the bodies and hair stiles of them
hope i will find a good way to paint, so what i can make a comics or longer works like girls club or sassie and her friends too.

Some more scribbles
me trying the art stile in .hack, so i painted mireiyu a bit like in the picture in the first manga of
.hack^^' but i have noticed, what the charakters are having a very big breast for little children,
so i want to to make them smaller.
i think i like the body how it is now and will start to try lolis in different sizes and
how i compare with some dificult poses.

From what I see, you use a different type of colorization than me... They all look like they were colored by color pencils and then scanned, do you color them IRL?
I color all pictures digitally, so i can be sure that i don't have color lines and make my pictures look like anime screen shots (that my recent development, look at my thread's first pages to see how i was some time ago...)
As for tips, i really don't have anything to add, you have to make your own style, because if people were using the same techniques, art would be boring... I find your art very nice, still you could use more contrast between normal tone/shadow (but thats how I like it, lol).

That texture effect you've got going on the last one is really effective, and the coloured version is really well done. The best colouring job I've seen on here. Where's she from, anyway?
