[LAH] (Game) {Kodomo H} Supa-Chokyoshi J |
Quote |
Loosely translated it means "Super Trainer J" or something like that. I don't think this has been posted yet, which I deduced from several variants on the Search function. Released December last year, enjoy
Now in RAR format!
I think after install it works in English mode, but I don't really know. Safe to leave your Non-Unicode set to Japanese, just in case.
Part 1!
Part 2!
Part 3!
Part 4!
Have fun with the Über-kawaii-ness of this! *eg*
Peace and love,
Squark
Original Pass Applies.

Thanks for posting this game as it looks great, but it seems part 1 has been deleted. Could you possibly re-upload it? Thanks in advance.

I can't install the game! The installer several error messages during game install, and then the game does not initialize for lack of files.
And yes, my computer IS running in japanese unicode.

You didn't download with a download manager did you? If you did, that may be your problem. As it downloads it as a getphp file, which can open with an archiver like 7zip and WinRar, but does not extract and combine properly with the other parts.
Your best bet is to download the 600MB file with IE and hope it doesn't cut off on you. FF tends to cut off on large files. You should be able to download the second part with FF as its not that big.
Hopefully it will download it all eventually. It took like 3-5 tries if not more to fully download the first part.

It seems I am able to run the game directly from the mounted image. I'm only unable to install it correctly in my machine.
Well, thanks for the tip.

Did you do something odd to it? |

Just putting my two cents in on this download...
What method did you choose to seperate the two files, since it seems to have problems with 7zip and WinRAR.
I get a single 7z archive in the two files, which, once 'extracted' into one archive, doesn't work, and HJSplit gets a damaged archive.
I do have the most recent versions of both 7-zip and HJSplit.
Maybe it's just the fact that the files are huge, and, in my humble opinion, better gathered through a Hongfire-supplied torrent (only problem is that Hongfire's seeds are unreliable) since they don't have more glitch crashes than actual file extractions...
This is worse than Badongo's crazy file-splitting system.

I didn't do anything unusual to it. I just used 7Zip's "Ultra" compression and split it into two pieces. Nobody else seems to have had this problem. Provided it's not giving you "Incorrect Password" or CRC errors, it should work fine with 7Zip. I've never even HEARD of HJSplit.
Sometimes using Firefox will cause the DL to be cut short and report the full file size at any rate. IE does this too, but less often. Dunno about Opera or Sun though.
All I can really say is try again with a different browser.
Small Edit: I also transferred them across computeres on a Flash Disk. And I'm trying to open the split archive in it's original form. Hang on.
*Roughly Six Minutes Later*
It opens fine for me, with no errors.
When opening it with 7zip, it should show you both files in the split archive, then AFTER hitting extract it should ask you then AND ONLY THEN for the pass. It may sound obvious, and perhaps in fact you were doing this, but try opening SupaChokyoushi-J.7z.001 first.
If you want me to get very techie about it, here's the exact method I used:
LZMA: 26 7zAES: 18 (Derived from the "Method" Column in the 7Zip File Manager GUI).

Got a weird thing myself.
According to 7Zip, In the archive was... the archive?
WinRAR refused to open it.
Literally, the only thing I got, every time, was the program asking if I wanted to extract the archive from itself, with a claim that it was perfectly fine.
And HJSplit is a file splitting utility which breaks files up into chunks with a similar syntax to 7zip's splitting method. When I got the odd behavior above, I thought it was a HJSplit file, rather than a odd failure to actually look in the archive by the program that made it.

That IS weird. Hmm... I remember getting that once before myself. But it was on one of my own files. So it won't really help you, I'm afraid. Although it makes me doubt that I packed it up just fine, what I'll do is, tomorrow I'll dl it myself to see if it was a pack error. And right afterwards, I'll post again. Or, more accurately, edit this one.
If it does turn out to be an error on my part (as seems unlikely (evident from talnkrde's post) I'll remove and re-up it and say so.
If, on the other hand, it's fine, I can only conclude it to be some sort of fault on your end -- something that is most likely not something you did, but rather something went wrong during download.
For now and in hope,
Squark
EDIT! I just checked a couple hours ago, and I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that the archive works perfectly. For those of you having problems, that's also the bad news. My advice is (in case you're using them) don't use accelerators with Gigasize. There's support, but only for paid members.

Ok, is it just me or there is an archive in the archive both of which are in 7-zip format? I successfully extract part 1 but part 2 just won't extract. can you show me how to do it step by step? I'm used to use Winrar but with 7zip, I'm pretty much blind.
EDIT: I manage to get it to work finally and the game works just fine. I don't understand the language but I have a feeling that the game is pretty much straightforward and easy to finish. I could b wrong though
