Now there's an idea. Wouldn't it be good if we could somehow have an overview of the pics posted so far so that (a) we wouldn't have to check every page, so it'd be easier to avoid repeats and (b) we avoid missing pics even if we miss the post they're in.

But I'm sure that I've seen repeat pictures on here. An example is the one of Yuffie in Terraforme's post six before this one (sorry, Terraforme). It's also on page four... the first pic in Zeke's post about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way down. Admittedly, it's a different size file, so it may have slipped through the net that way, but it's merely the example that came to mind, not the only example.
So, the system can check a given user's posts, but due to each individual users' particular naming and filing of the pics, it can't really compare posts by different users, can it? Hence my suggestion was intended to be regarding separate users. Still, it may not be feasible to do it. Oh, and do correct me if this is wrong; perhaps it is, but I have definitely seen multiple posts of the same picture from different people, so...
Oh, and no amount of repeat prevention addresses the other issue I raised, of a person not seeing posts = not getting pics.
P.S. Apologies if I'm getting too big for my boots on this one

Fnlfntsyfn - if you don't get it, try adding vowels and spaces. Importantly, this extends to hentai as well. Kingdom Hearts is also very welcome.

We still could do with, for example, a sort of viewer window that has thumbnails of all pics in the thread so far or something, so we can see all of them w/o trailing through the whole thread. Sure, eleven pages isn't as big as some threads, but it's still a lot. Incidentally, this is precisely the sort of thing that I meant by "overview" in my initial post on this subject. Of course, there is the issue of how feasible such a feature would be. Still, it's just a suggestion...
I need to stop hijacking the thread for this discussion, don't I?  I suppose I'd better investigate the forums to see if there's a relevant thread anywhere. Meanwhile, to nudge this thread back to what it's meant for, I have a pic... though as usual no idea if it's new or not.
