When you said you were mastering an RPG, did you mean a paper and dice RPG like Dungeons and Dragons?

In that case, your use of the word "master" isn't incorrect. In my experience, that position is usually called the "Dungeon Master," usually abreviated to just "DM." I think it was just that when you said a "FF-like RPG," people thought of a video game, not a D&D-style RPG.

If you say "mastering", one usually thinks of "mastering something" as in playing a game so often you can get 100% points or something, or, another meaning could be mastering as in "creating", in which people might think you are working on creating a game.

I wish I could draw. I'm really bad with drawing body porportions properly. Plus I can only do straight on and none of my characters end up looking the same.

Creator: You definitely have strong skills. I would love to see a manga drawn by you i the future (even if it is short). You have a wide area of interests and I think it would make for an interesting story.

Haiyami: If you would like to improve on proportions and poses, start first with tracing. This will begin to give you a feel for the proportions. After you have tried that for a while, try making the same drawings freehand. Don't be discouraged if your freehand is off at first, it's just practice Feather Kawaii 2

. When you find you have that down, try a few different poses of your own I am certain that will help you develop your skills further if you have an interest in art.

Dark Creator: I think you have a good handle on perspective. That is a really good pose. As far as backgrounds, have you tried just walls of rooms and doors to start?

I prefer natural settings myself, because their organic shapes are more forgiving. Of course, I avoid them, too, because my real interest is in the figure. That's one of my blocks on doing a manga.
