Yes, very nice. I do a little photoshop myself, but I've never learned how to do vector art. I prefer raster art.
Feather- More specifically vectoring is doing art with Vector graphics, a math based system of art that calculates exactly where everything is in relation to everything else. Raster art is regular pixel based art where the computer just says to itself "There are 500 lines of 500 pixels each, in order they are blue, light blue, green, blue green, etc....". Raster art is starting to be pretty old hat at this point since rasterized pictures don't expand/contract well. With Vector graphics you can make a picture as large or small as you want and it never loses quality, since the computer just does a bunch of math and fills in the extra spaces between pixels with the right colored pixels.

You are making it too complicated...I used to ONLY use photoshop and raster graphics. But since working on projects with PSP, I wouldnt go back. I am currently working on a pure vector based drawing (my first without the aid of hand drawn scans) and I find I am not having any issues.

You don't need to understand math formulae or perform complex calculations, you just use Bezier Curves. It's the pain free way of doing vector graphics and once you start you will never want to go back Feather Kawaii 3 As for quality, well it is a matter of how you join the end points in the vectors. If they are not joned at a node, they do not always expand cleanly. And there is definitely issues if you are dealing with many layers of raster colors in addition to vector outlines

You had me at Bezier Curves. Wait, no, you lost me at Bezier curves. Either way, I'm a dinosaur, I'll just stick with raster art. Heck, I just switched to 3rd edition DnD last year, that's enough change for a while.

Dinosaur? lol...what are you 80? Wink j/k

I have about 10 years of post secondary education.

At 33 I have just begun to learn.

I said almost exactly those same words to Sat about 6 months ago.

But like most interesting things I know, I took the time to learn it. After about a week of screwing around and about 6 months of practice in my spare time (which I dont have a lot of), I can say I am happy with it for a tool, it has matured my work in my opinion. I am just saying don't dismiss it just because it looks like a bit more work. In the end it saves you HUGE amounts of work and produce cleaner results.

Just my thoughts, not criticisms
