Question about 3d links

I see that 3d images that are not in the anime style are not to be posted here. I understand the rule and will abide by it. I was wondering if there was a rule against requesting links to 3d galleries or to another forum where 3d art was acceptable. I must admit, I can only speculate why 3d images could not be posted, but as I said, I will follow the rules as they exist.

I would think that something like this should be a thread in the links section, so that even though 3d isn't for this site... maybe it could help facilitate members looking for it.
