yep myself being one, if the game is causing problems 1 rename the *.exe (unless l havent already) and 2 it could be a language fault, so you would have to install the japanese language fonts, l go one step further by setting my region to Japanese as well mainly because it allows me to run programs from other countries which use different methods of programming, in any case if you do change the region settings with XP they dont really change the fact you can still see everything in english however they do allow japanese fonts to be viewed properly and also games to run that use japanese fonts (the only real change l see tho is the fact \ looks like a yen sign when viewing folders since l like the address bar showing so l know where l am  )
