You people all appear pleasant, and we do share a common interest. Yet this seems to be a scary place, with adware/shareware and gold membership junk lurking around corners. Has anyone else felt that way when they arrived?
BTW an eclipse is going on here but the southeast skies are cloudy so we can't see it. Sort of like my grasp of my fascination with these picts, I know it is there but I can not see it, grasp it, out figure it out. Anyone equally or similarly confused?
Lastly (stops whining) html is off so I don't know how to add an image[/img] so that's something I need to go look for in the FAQs.

What you call "Golden membership" is just access to the extra files section, which is a download section for contributing members.
Generally, anyone who contributes a lot can get in there, and not for money 
Look around before you start making assumptions ^ ^
