I too want to know how.. Did it by complete accident one time.. but never again.. BTW I even did a M$ pay solution and they finally admitted it was a damn bug but that they had no intention of fixing the bug.. so M$ didn't charge me for that iratating bug. So please tell us how you fixed it. That is the only reason I don't keep my computer in Japanese mode and instead try to use Applocale first.

I've never had a problem with it myself. I can still find all my shortcuts and links even if they are seperated by Yen instead of \.

Problem is many applications that use ini files will not run because they are not unicode and translate the \ to yen symbol. So they refuse to work at all.

Never stopped me.
